Topic: Learn more about keeping your teeth and mouth healthy after Head and Neck Cancer and the different roles of Dental Practitioners
Treatments for Head and Neck Cancer, especially radiation therapy, can cause side effects. These issues may arise early during treatment, or be experienced later and persist for the remainder of life.
Good dental hygiene at home is important to maintaining a healthy mouth and teeth. Tooth decay is much faster and more severe after radiotherapy. Join our free webinar to learn more about what you can do to help keep your teeth and mouth healthy.
Also learn about the different roles of Dental Practitioners who may be involved in your care, including General Dentists, Special Needs Dentists and Oral Medicine Specialists.

Amanda Phoon Nguyen is an Oral Medicine Specialist. Her clinical and research interests include orofacial pain, oral mucosal disorders, temporomandibular disorders, dental sleep medicine and paediatric oral medicine. Amanda is known for her clinical expertise, approachability, devotion to patient care, and masterful ability to harness modern technology, especially social media, to support her patients and share her passion for oral medicine. Amanda completed her specialist training at the University of Western Australia, and her understanding of oral medicine became personal when a family member developed oral cancer. When Amanda completed her training, she was even more motivated to help others.
