Topic: Learn more Lymphoedema after Head and Neck Cancer 

This webinar will focus on head and neck lymphoedema. The webinar will discuss why lymphoedema occurs and how it can affect people. It will also focus on how head and neck lymphoedema can be addressed with the support of a health professional and through self management.

Head and Neck Cancer Australia's FREE Webinars are designed to educate, inform and support people living with Head and Neck Cancer. Lymphoedema Therapists are strongly encouraged to attend this webinar but everyone is welcome to join whether you're a patient, carer, friend or other healthcare professional.

GUEST SPEAKER

Dr Amanda Pigott, The University of Queensland

Dr Amanda Pigott is an occupational therapist, lymphoedema therapist and lymphoedema researcher with over 25 years of clinical experience. She works as a specialist clinician in the cancer-related lymphoedema clinic at the Princess Alexandra Hospital has extensive experience working in the public health system specialising in lymphoedema clinical care. She runs an active consultancy training health professionals in oedema management. She also holds an honorary appointment as a research fellow at the University of Queensland and is actively involved in multiple research projects investigating the effects of cancer treatment on lymphoedema development and experience.
