PLEASE HELP US LAUNCH AUSTRALIA’S FIRST HEAD AND NECK CANCER HELPLINE
Since Head and Neck Cancer Australia launched in 2016 we have engaged and collaborated with the growing community of people across Australia who are impacted by this disease. The common theme in all our conversations has been that people living with Head and Neck Cancer require ongoing expert support from the time of diagnosis to managing the long-term side effects and complications of treatment, particularly once the acute phase of treatment ends.
We are committed to securing funding for essential services that provide comfort, enable recovery and improve health outcomes and quality of life.
In response to feedback from patients, carers and healthcare professionals and the growing demand from people contacting HANCA for support, our goal is to raise enough funds to pilot Australia’s First Head and Neck Cancer Helpline.
The Head and Neck Cancer Helpline will give Head and Neck Cancer patients, their family and the people who care for them, access to a Head and Neck Cancer Specialist Navigator with expertise in providing information, practical and emotional support and connections to peer support to alleviate feelings of isolation, anxiety, depression and social isolation. JOIN THE CIRCLE
Head and Neck Cancer is the link that brings us together and we need your help to raise a minimum of $250,000 for this two-year pilot program to proceed.
Please consider donating a gift of any amount and create a ripple effect by inviting a friend to match your donation so we can reach our goal by Christmas and give a gift that will last a lifetime.
Your generous gift will help ensure a Head and Neck Cancer Specialist Navigator is with a patient and their family every step of the way, from diagnosis, through treatment to life after cancer.
No one should face Head and Neck Cancer alone and with your generous gift they won’t have to.
Thank you for your friendship and support today.
